Refund policy
AMP Racing Returns, Refunds & Product Policy
AMP Racing is committed to supplying quality e-moto parts and accessories. Please read this policy carefully before purchasing, installing or using any product.
14-Day Return Request Period
Where a return is eligible under this policy, customers must contact AMP Racing within 14 days of receiving their order to request a return.
Products must not be returned without contacting AMP Racing first. Any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under Australian Consumer Law are not affected by this 14-day period.
No Change-of-Mind Returns
AMP Racing does not offer returns, exchanges or refunds for change of mind, including where a customer decides they no longer want the product after ordering.
Please make sure you have selected the correct product, model and specifications before completing your purchase.
Fitment & Compatibility
Customers are responsible for confirming that a product is suitable for their specific bike, model, year and existing setup before purchasing or installing it.
AMP Racing is not responsible where a product does not operate correctly because of:
- An incompatible bike, model or year
- Existing aftermarket modifications
- Incorrect wiring or voltage
- Incorrect installation
- Modified electrical systems
- Incompatible controllers, batteries or other components
- Differences in the customer’s existing bike setup
If you are unsure whether a product will work with your bike, please contact AMP Racing before purchasing or installing the product, and we will do our best to help confirm compatibility.
If AMP Racing has specifically advertised a product as compatible with your bike and you believe the product does not match that description, contact us with your order details and supporting photos or video so we can investigate.
Product Testing & Quality Control
AMP Racing does not knowingly sell or dispatch faulty or damaged products.
Our products are quality checked and tested during production, and products are also inspected and tested by AMP Racing where applicable before being dispatched to customers.
While we take steps to ensure products are supplied in working condition, installation, wiring, bike setup and how a product is used after delivery can affect its operation.
Faulty or Damaged Products
If you believe you have received a genuinely faulty, damaged or incorrect product, please contact AMP Racing as soon as possible with:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the product
- Video showing the issue where possible
- Information about your bike and setup
- Details of how the product was installed
We may request further information, troubleshooting or inspection of the product before determining the cause of the issue.
A product being installed or used does not automatically mean that a manufacturing fault exists.
User Damage & Installation Issues
Damage or failure caused by the following will generally not be considered a manufacturing fault:
- Incorrect installation
- Incorrect wiring or voltage
- Excessive force during installation
- Crashes or impact damage
- Misuse or abuse
- Water damage
- Modification or alteration of the product
- Incompatible bike components
- Modified controllers or electrical systems
- Neglect
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage occurring after installation or during use
Customers are responsible for ensuring products are installed correctly. Where appropriate, AMP Racing recommends having performance, braking and electrical components installed by a suitably experienced person.
Used or Installed Products
Products that have been installed, used, wired, modified, marked, damaged or altered are not eligible for a return simply because the customer no longer wants the product or because it is incompatible with their particular setup.
If an installed or used product is claimed to have a manufacturing fault, AMP Racing will assess the circumstances and may request evidence or inspection before determining the appropriate outcome.
Approved Fault Claims
If AMP Racing determines that a product has a genuine manufacturing fault, we will work with the customer to provide an appropriate solution.
Depending on the nature of the issue, this may include a repair, replacement or refund where required.
Please do not return a product without contacting AMP Racing first. Products returned without prior approval may not be accepted.
Incorrect Orders
Customers are responsible for checking their order before completing checkout.
If you accidentally order the wrong product, contact AMP Racing as soon as possible. If the order has not yet been processed or shipped, we may be able to help change or cancel it.
Once an order has been dispatched, we cannot guarantee that changes can be made.
Sale & Clearance Products
Sale and clearance products are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.
This does not affect any rights you may have if a product has a genuine fault.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or consumer guarantees that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where a product fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee, customers may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy depending on the circumstances.
Contact AMP Racing
If you have an issue with an order or product, please contact AMP Racing before attempting to return it.
When contacting us about a product issue, please include your order number and as much photo or video evidence as possible so we can assess the situation quickly and fairly.
